Summer Lovin’

Standard

Hello, Friends!
It is officially summer here in Oklahoma, because we have officially opened our pool (which, if you haven’t read about on my other blog, was an enormously embarrassing trial for me that you can check out here). Tonight I’m going to bring you one of my favorite outfits of the season so far. It’s a very adorable dress that I have already worn six or seven times since getting it a couple weeks ago:

Floral print dress: Gap outlet, $7.49
Bronze gladiator sandals: Walmart clearance, $7
Bronze heart necklace: Body Central, $1
Pink flower earrings: Cato, gift from my mom
Leather bracelet: gift from friend

I was beyond excited when I saw this dress on such huge clearance at the Gap store in our local outlet mall. There was a lot of them left, and I could not understand why everyone wasn’t buying them up! I thought the print was adorable, and I loved the colors. Flutter sleeves also tend to be a flattering look on most people. I also think the deep vee neck is a flattering neckline on me. I just loved everything about it.
The sandals are my favorite ones; I got them at Walmart ages ago and I wear them constantly in the summer, especially with the bronze heart necklace, which is probably my favorite. I’ve featured both pretty frequently on here haha. I was originally going to wear bronze earrings, but then I happened to see the pink flower ones my mom got me at Cato on clearance a while ago, and thought they just matched the print of the dress perfectly. The bracelet was a souvenir my friend brought me back, and it felt like it added just the right touch. Here’s a closer view of all the jewelry and the print of the dress:
IMG_9213I wore this out to dinner with my family tonight. We tried a new Mexican restaurant and this fun summer outfit just seemed perfect. I’m pretty sure this dress is going to be my go-to dress for the summer, because you can dress it up or down, and I can accessorize it with pretty much anything.
I felt lovely in this outfit, and hopefully you like it, too!

Pax,
Sara
